Who we are

This website is operated by AAKoryx Consulting LLC (“AAKoryx,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the website, how we use it, and which service providers help us process it.

If you have questions about this policy or about your information, contact us at office@aakoryx.com.

Information you provide

We collect the information you choose to submit through the forms on this website:

  • Schedule a Discovery: your name, work email and company; and, if you choose to provide them, your role, what you are trying to solve, your current ERP or business system, whether you use Odoo today, and anything else you want us to know.
  • General contact: your name, work email, company and message; and, if you choose to provide it, your role.
  • Request Personalized Access: the demonstration environment you are requesting, your name, work email and company; and, if you choose to provide them, your role, what you are evaluating and what you want to test.
  • Demo and workflow-review requests (on industry and solution pages): the page you are on and what you asked for, your name, work email and company; and, if you choose to provide it, what you would like to see or fix and how your process works today.
  • Webinar registration: the event and session you are registering for, your name, work email and company; and, if you choose to provide it, your role.
  • Requests on our resource pages (such as Talk to an Odoo Expert): the resource page you are on, your first name, work email and company; and, if you completed the assessment on that page, your answers and the result they produce.

Assessments on our resource pages are calculated in your browser. Your answers are not sent to us unless you submit a request on that page; if you do, they are included with your request so we can understand your situation.

With each submission we also record the page the form was submitted from and the date and time of the submission.

These forms do not ask for a phone number, postal address or budget, and submitting a form — including a request on a resource page — does not sign you up for marketing communications. If you email us directly, we receive the information you include in your email.

Information processed automatically

When you visit the website, our hosting infrastructure processes technical information needed to deliver pages and keep the service secure, such as your IP address, browser and device information, the page or resource requested, and the date and time of the request.

When you submit a form, the security check described below also processes technical information about your browser, device and request.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the website is used. For each page view it records the page address, the referring page, the time, the approximate location (country, region and city), and the device type, operating system and browser. It does not use third-party cookies; visitors are distinguished by a hash created from the request, which is discarded after 24 hours, and the data is used for aggregated statistics.

When you arrive on the website, it notes the first page you visited, the website that referred you (its domain only) and any campaign tags in the link you followed, such as utm_source or an advertising click identifier. This information stays in your browser’s session storage until you close the browser, and it is sent to us only if you submit a form, as part of your inquiry.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website — for example, which pages are viewed, which links to our contact pages are clicked, when a form is started or an inquiry is successfully submitted, and when an assessment on a resource page is started or completed (including its general result category, never your answers). Where it runs, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) to recognize returning browsers, and sends information about your visit to Google, including the pages you view, the address of the page you arrived on, technical details such as your browser, device and approximate location, and your IP address.

Because the address of the page you arrived on is included, Google Analytics also receives any campaign tags in the link you followed, such as utm_source or an advertising click identifier, so we can see which campaigns bring visitors to the website.

We do not send your name, email address, company, role or the content of your messages or form entries to Google Analytics. We use it only to measure how the website is used: Google Ads, remarketing, advertising audiences and Google signals are not active on this website.

Google Analytics does not run:

  • for visitors we identify as being in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, or when we cannot determine where a visitor is (we use the approximate location of your connection for this check and do not store it);
  • if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal;
  • if you have turned it off using “Your Privacy Choices.”

Your Privacy Choices

You can turn Google Analytics off at any time using the “Your Privacy Choices” link at the bottom of every page. When you turn it off, Google Analytics stops for the rest of your visit and on later visits, and we delete the Google Analytics cookies on this website. We remember your choice in your browser’s local storage, so it applies to this browser only; if you clear your browser’s site data or use another browser or device, you will need to choose again. You can turn Google Analytics back on in the same place.

This choice applies to Google Analytics. Our cookie-free, aggregate page statistics (Vercel Web Analytics) and the visit details sent with an inquiry are described above.

How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • Respond to your inquiry or contact request
  • Arrange and prepare for discovery conversations
  • Review and process Personalized Access, demo and workflow-review requests
  • Process webinar registrations and send session details
  • Understand your business and Odoo requirements
  • Keep a record of business inquiries and our follow-up
  • Protect our forms from spam, automated submissions and abuse
  • Understand, in aggregate, how the website is used so we can improve it
  • Understand how people who contact us found the website, and which pages, campaigns and links lead to inquiries
  • Operate, maintain and secure the website

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

Service providers

The following service providers take part in operating the website and handling form submissions:

  • Vercel — hosts the website and runs the server processing that receives form submissions.
  • Vercel Web Analytics — measures page views for aggregated website statistics.
  • Google Analytics (Google) — measures how visitors use the website, where it runs (see “Google Analytics” above).
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — checks form submissions to help distinguish legitimate requests from automated or abusive ones.
  • Odoo — our customer relationship management (CRM) system, where submitted inquiries are stored and managed.
  • YouTube (Google) — plays the videos embedded on some of our pages, such as our industry pages and our Odoo 20 page, if you choose to play one.

Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy commitments.

We may also share information with our professional advisors, and with legal or regulatory authorities where required by law.

Security check (Cloudflare Turnstile)

Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to help distinguish legitimate submissions from automated or abusive ones. It usually runs in the background; occasionally it may ask you to complete a simple check.

As part of this verification, Cloudflare processes technical information about your browser, device and connection, including your IP address. We use the result only to decide whether to accept a form submission.

Embedded videos (YouTube)

Some pages show videos hosted on YouTube. The YouTube player loads only when you press play, and it uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Once it loads, YouTube processes technical information such as your IP address and may use cookies or similar technologies under its own terms and privacy policy.

Cookies and similar technologies

Where Google Analytics runs, it sets first-party analytics cookies (such as _ga) on this website, as described above. AAKoryx does not set advertising cookies, and Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies. The website uses your browser’s session storage to keep the visit details described above for the current session, and its local storage to remember a choice you make in “Your Privacy Choices.”

AAKoryx also has a separate website for India. We may use the country associated with a request to this website — as determined by our hosting provider, Vercel — to suggest that regional website. We do not store your IP address for this purpose. For a request associated with an eligible country, a session cookie holds only that country code. If you choose, stay or dismiss a regional website option, that preference is kept in your browser’s local storage so the choice can be remembered.

Service providers that are needed to operate the website, such as Cloudflare Turnstile on our forms, and the YouTube player when you choose to play a video, may use cookies, local storage or similar technologies for security and to perform their function. You can control cookies through your browser settings; if you block them, some features, such as the form security check, may not work as expected.

How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain our record of the inquiry and any resulting business relationship, meet operational and recordkeeping needs, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. No internet transmission or electronic storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your requests

You can contact us at office@aakoryx.com to ask about the information we hold about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law.

Children’s privacy

This website is intended for businesses and professionals. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through the website, contact office@aakoryx.com and we will take steps to delete it.

Third-party links

The website may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when they are posted on this page, and the effective date above shows when the policy was last revised.
